Google shows your product image in Shopping results and ads. Here is what a product needs, the tools that prepare your images and a checker for each image. Start a product with Google Merchant Center already selected, or use each tool on its own.

What a Google Merchant Center product needs
You can prepare the photos today with the tools listed. The other parts are planned and not available yet.
Product images

- Each product, and each variant, needs its own main image.
- A solid white or transparent background is recommended. Light-coloured products on a transparent background can appear black.
- Around 1,500 × 1,500 px or above is recommended. Files can be up to 16 MB.
- No added text or borders.
